Whether you're a complete beginner or someone with a love for fine crafts, this 2-hour workshop offers a unique opportunity to slow down, connect with culture, and create your very own wearable art. All materials will be provided, just bring your curiosity and creativity!

Participants will:

  • Learn the basics of traditional Nonya bead embroidery
  • Choose from a selection of beautiful Peranakan-inspired designs
  • Embroider using high-quality Miyuki and Czech glass beads
  • Work on your design using a provided hoop frame (100–200 beads per piece)
  • Take home your in-progress creation, along with all materials to complete it

Want to get even more hands-on? Bring along your own fabric item (like a blouse or bag)! Our team will assess if it’s suitable for bead embroidery, so you can personalise something you already love.

What You’ll Take Home:

Your own bead embroidery project, along with the hoop, beads, needle, and thread to continue your work at home.
