[REGISTRATION CLOSED] Photo Embroidery: Stitch Your Story Workshop
Stitch Meaning into Every Thread
Celebrate National Day with a meaningful hands-on workshop that brings photography and embroidery together in a fresh and creative way. In this unique session, participants will transform printed images into personalised works of art by stitching directly onto photographs or inspirational quotes inspired by Singapore. With guidance from an experienced facilitator, each embroidered piece becomes a tribute to community, identity and creative expression.
Whether you are commemorating a memory, reflecting on what home means to you or simply exploring a new art form, this workshop offers the chance to slow down and stitch your story one thread at a time. Perfect for adults and older youth looking for a thoughtful and artistic way to mark the occasion.
Participants will:
- Choose from a curated A5 photo print or quote inspired by Singapore
- Explore texture, colour and stitch composition to personalise their piece
- Take home a completed embroidered artwork framed and ready to display
All materials will be provided.
For personalised photo prints participants must submit their images at least one week in advance to allow time for printing and preparation.
